A CHRISTIAN CHURCH

We believe that Jesus Christ came to earth over 2000 years ago. He was born as a baby in Bethlehem and about 33 years later died for us on the Cross!  This was not the end however, He rose again from death and lives to never die again.

We believe that He came to lead us to forgiveness from sin and to eternal life.  Those two wonderful things do not happen because Christians are better than anybody else, but because God by His grace gives those to us as gifts.

He calls us to repent of our sin and to trust Jesus to forgive us.  This means that we believe that His death on the Cross was enough to take away our sin and its deadly effects.  By His grace and by the power of the Holy Spirit we then live for Him, becoming more and more like the character of Jesus every day.

A PENTECOSTAL CHURCH

It’s true that we are affiliated with the Australian Christian Churches (formerly AOG).

But it is not this that makes us Pentecostal. We are that because we believe that it is the Christian’s destiny to live a life empowered by the Holy Spirit, using the Spiritual Gifts He has given us, including prophecy, tongues, interpretation and healing, to serve Him in this world!
